Our Boat: 23ft Hourston Glascraft Sedan
People have often asked me about our boat: What kind is it, how long is it, does it have a head etc. So, for those of you who wonder, I have posted a picture. As I have mentioned in previous posts, Hourston’s are well known by boating enthusiasts and chartered guides up and down the west coast of BC. They are strong, safe, stable and very suitable for the wild west coast waters of BC. It is low meaning it doesn’t get blown around a lot, yet has 6’4″ headroom in the cabin. It is not long meaning you don’t need tonnes of power to push it (our’s is powered by a 250 Suzuki), but has a huge fishable deck, in many cases, more space than longer boats. It has enough seating space inside the cabin to sit 4 plus myself meaning you don’t have to sit in the foul weather unlike Pursuits or Grady Whites. It’s not the latest model on the market, yet it rides like an older Cadillac and has that classic sexy look. And yes, our boat does come with a head for all you women who enjoy fishing but worry about, well, you know. So, for those of you who are looking to book an amazing fishing trip on an amazing boat for the 2019 season, check us out. You’ll discover that our prices are among the best in the business thanks to the efficiency of the 23ft Hourston Glascraft Sedan.
